PurplePride92
I'm happy it did. Wouldn't be sad to see Schiano benched as well.

swamprat
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have decided to bench quarterback Josh Freeman for rookie Mike Glennon, coach Greg Schiano announced Wednesday. Freeman decision surprises Bucs teammates The Buccaneers announced today that all seven remaining home games this season would be televised locally. "In appreciation for the loyal support of our fans throughout the Tampa Bay area, we have committed to televise the remaining seven home games of the 2013 season," said Buccaneers Co-Chairman Bryan Glazer. The Bucs must sell at least 85 percent of their non-premium seats for a home game to be televised in the local market. A buddy of mine, a passionate ticket holder who hasn't missed a Bucs game in 15 years, put his tickets for Sunday's game up for sale yesterday after the announcement. :isurrender: I don't know what to think, but this should make things interesting around here. :bag:
PurplePride92
I just saw that Freeman is at Stage 1 of the NFL Drug Program. JokersWild24
I can't believe what that team is trying to pull on this drug thing. Agree. What other job would put this out there like that? Doesn't seem like something that would comply with HIPPA.
PurplePride92
I've never seen or heard of any player being in the drug program until they get suspended. Sure seems like the Bucs are doing all they can to smear Freeman.

JokersWild24
Schiano and/or the Glazers are going to come out looking worse than anyone else when this is all said and done. Wait and see. ADHD medication on college campuses is becoming more and more common. It's becoming more and more socially accepted (not that it really applies to Freeman in any way other than the court of public opinion). Sounds like Freeman's having something beyond his control used to smear him. If the NFL doesn't have a problem, especially considering the cases like Richard Sherman, etc., then that tells me something.
Habib
Schiano is a major league jerk. I couldn't care less about the Bucs, but I'll be happy to see him get fired, which is bound to be forthcoming at the rate this season is going.
swamprat
I can't believe what that team is trying to pull on this drug thing. Makes no sense, from a business standpoint. What value Freeman has in the trade market, their doing their darnedest to flitter away. I hold Mark Dominick responsible. What the heck is the GM doing? No way he is not complaisant. JokersWild24
Looks like the NFLPA is going to investigate the "leak" about Freeman's enrollment in Stage 1. I'm glad. Those things are confidential for a reason. NFLPA to investigate leaks of info on Josh Freeman of Tampa Bay Buccaneers - ESPN
