No Bad Weather in Frankfort until 11pm

 

Even more impressive then for the Tigers. I think this is only the second game in the past two years that Franklin County has scored less than 34 points. The other time was versus Cooper in last year's playoffs and Cooper was a very good defensive team.

No bad weather...rain held off for the most part. Sprinkles began in the 4th quarter. Eye of the Tigers game report was dead on accurate. I would hate to face that team on turf...amazing speed.

Beechwood did some much needed "growing up" tonight. By far the best effort/execution of the year on both sides of the ball. Proud of the Tigers, however the dropped TD passes....I believe 3 of them, had a direct effect on 2 long drives that stalled in or near the RED zone....The "pass interference" call allowed Franklin to sustain a drive which ultimatly changed momentum with a TD. No moral victorys for the Tigers, just a hard fought game with some better individual performances leading to a GIANT step forward for the TEAM as a whole.

I'll stick totally 100% by my post last night. Not to be disrespectful, but I don't care whether you agree or not. I know how the D has done, period. Now the PI call against Beechwood, I also saw nothing on that one too. Beechwood has a fantastic team as usual, and they are very well coached and they have great technique up front. Beechwood fans should be proud of the Tigers, but I also know how the game went with the Flyers and how they performed to there ability. Best of luck to both teams from here on out.

He's a real good QB with a bright future. He had some dropped too Clyde. He really keeps his eyes up on the move.

very good qb, Fchs made him look real good at time, both teams had their chances to put this thing away at different times, but they both made mistakes to keep it a dog fight, Flyers pulled it off in the end.

After looking at the film, on the 70 yd TD by Roberts that was called back you could call a holding on #27 for the Flyers. Also, it did look like a PI on Beechwood too. Guess we're even on those two. Gotta clean up the silly offsides penalties an stuff Flyers. On to District play against a tough W Jessamine team. This was still a big win for a Flyer program that is starting to put some consistent tradition together and get wins over a tradition rich programs like Beechwood. They haven't been beaten at home in about 3 years. Best of luck to Beechwood the rest of the season.
