Actually Brossart hasn't fared well with the Royals for quite a few years.

 

My records show that this year we lose to the Royals at home - 66-52.

2004-05 Lose 58-44 at Mason County - Regular Season

2003-04 Lose 62-51 at CCMS - Lofton/Pitino Night - Wes Jones went off

2002-03 Lose 69-52 in the MCIT

Lose 58-54 in a Regular Season Game in the Fieldhouse

2001-02 Lose 77-49 in the MCIT

Lose 71-57 in the SyDome in a Regular Season Game.

Lose 89-77 in the Fieldhouse in the 10th Region Tournament

Good win for Mason. Does anyone else agree that teams who come back from the All A State, have a hard time pulling out wins? It seems that teams go into the All A with tons of steam, and come out flat after. I'm not saying this happened to BBHS, but seems to be a trend these last few seasons.

Tonight was truly a banner night in and around Maysville. The Royals get the big road win and, well, you know.

Tough night for the "A" State Final Four.

Brossart falls to Mason County, NCC gets rocked at CovCath and get this - Bardstown loses by six to 10-11 Nelson County. Owensboro Catholic had the good sense not to play last night and will be back in action on Friday.

 

Mason County is a good team who came into the Sydome on a mission and got the job done, but coming out of the "A" was a factor - not an excuse.

Danny Weddle said it was there 1st ever win at the Seiter Center .Thats what i was going by on that one,Either way its still a tough place to grab a W.

Excuse me i was going by what Mr. Weddle said on the radio show.I would trust what Danny says as hes usally very accurate it was mistake it happens now and then and thanks Mustang for getting it correct. :irked:

I agree... Mason is a very good team. What looks from big time schools are Miller getting?

I ask him last Nite like i told you i would he said he has recieved letters from Xavier,Standford,UK and UL to just name some of the better schools.
