When I was little my dad took me over to Cincinnati during the World Series. We went to a downtown hotel and I got the autographs of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. I also had the autographs of Frank Robinson and Vada Pinson. I had several other that I don't remember now. I have since lost the book.

Me and my son went to a Bengals practice and some older guy was there with a trapper keeper getting autographs I told my son to go ask him if he wanted his autograph! People wanting autographs are pathetic!

My basement is a total Bengals room. I have a lot of stuff, but not too many autographs. I probably have about 20. I have two signed jerseys signed and framed, Chad Johnson and Takeo Spikes. I have a Dalton autographed picture. Other than that, I have footballs signed by deveral at events I went to. I never get in the way of kids getting them. I have quite a few things that sre unique when I travel. Found a Bengals poncho in Mexico.

All my son cares about is shaking his favorite football players hand.

I mean grown men trying to get autographs from Bengal players during practice.

I have 3 very different ones:

 

1) a personalized photo signed by Mickey Mantle

2) a signed picture of the Enola Gay (Hiroshima) by Paul Tibbetts (pilot) AND the co-pilot of Bockscar (Nagasaki) by Donald Albury

.....in the ONLY picture of both Atomic bombers taken together during WWII

3) a signed book by Seal Team Six founder Richard Marcinko

I do have a recollection of the last time I saw it. I do wish I still had them. I really don't know how they got lost. I got Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris when they were coming off of any elevator. That little autograph book would probably have been worth some money.

I collect them. Not really go out and make it a mission to get them, but I do like them. Built my basement like in a sports theme and have my autographs displayed there.

 

I have some good ones, Willie Mays, Ted Williams, Jack Nicklaus, Muhamed Ali, entire Bengals Starting team and coaches on an authentic helmet I got all of them myself at training camp in 2005. But my personal favorite is the entire team and coaches signed baseball of the 1976 Cincinnati Reds.
