I would really love to see him finish the season. Everyone gets frustrated at times, but when he is older like me, he will always remember his days of playing High School ball. You only get your 4 years of basketball in High School...once it's gone, you can't get it back. Maybe I can swindle him into playing baseball?? :devil:

Everyone knows how rumors go... I don't really know if Neeley quit or not, but I wish him the best as he is a good kid. Whether he quit or not... we won't know until the whistle blows to start the game

I am now assuming that Daniel has left the team for whatever reasons. I want to publicly wish him nothing but the best in whatever he does in the future (including if he returns to the Owls). He is a quality kid and got no love from his faithful followers. Daniel is a very good ballplayer and I hope he is not done with his high school career.

I spoke with a former player and he told me that three players from the Owlsley team have stated that Daniel has left the team.

Does anyone know the reason why he quit?

If the kid quit or not life will go on for him as well as everybody else. I love sports as much as anyone, Neeley is a very smart boy he is going to do well whatever he does, right now I am sure the kid wishes he hadn't seen a ball this season, what ever his reason for quiting. Lets all let the kid come to grips with his decision.
