Key returners: Josh Allen (OL/DL, Sr., 6-3, 290); Tamarius Bowes (RB/LB, Sr., 6-0, 225); Josh Nichols (C, Sr., 6-0, 285); Jake Stoshak (DB/WR, Sr., 6-0, 185).

 

Key newcomers: Malcolm Hills (DE, Sr., 6-3, 250); Antonio Simmons (TE, Sr., 6-3, 220).

 

Outlook: UC emphatically halted a spell of mediocrity, charging all the way to a seventh state title. Despite turnover in the backfield and on defense, they have a chance to repeat the feat, led by UNC commitment Allen and a punishing line that might be the state’s best in the class.
