14-7 x at half. The lone pioneer td coming against the second string d. At this point I'm extremely impressed by the starting d. The starting O on the other hand is definitely a work in progress. But I guess I was expecting the off season to be in playoff form in the 1st scrimmage. Paitence is what the X fans must have.

Folks on BGP haven't exactly talked this summer as if patience would be necessary. But I agree with you, no reason to get too up or too down about a scrimmage. They'll be fine; and maybe Simon Kenton will be pretty good, too.

I must admit, I fell victim to that as well. With such a new atmosphere it was kind of suspected to have a slow start but I don't think anyone wanted to embrace it. But after watching this scrimmage I have too. Right now at this moment T and BG are better teams than X. Now If that's true at the end of the season remains to be seen. I am thoroughly Impressed with defense, offense as I said before still has a lot of wrinkles to work out. The RB situation has to be cleared up. I believe when Davis is fully healthy things will go a lot smoother. #rolltigers

Sounds like about what I expected. I would imagine X is able to tack on 3 more scores in the second half. I think X's second and 3 string O will have more speed and size than SK's second and 3rd team guys.

Exactly what I was talking about. Davis came in first drive of second half at fb and percell had 10 yd carry then Davis had 67 yard run on his first Carry of the game. Walker finished the drive by rumbling in from 3yrds out. Uk the third string d is out there now.

Avid...same thing happened in last Saturday's scrimmage as the D was constantly getting to Nagle. Thanks for your reports tonight. I had to work until 7pm and couldn't make the trip up to NKY.
