Final.

Great game for Boyd Co. Led again by Antonio Owens with 30 points. The game was never close as Boyd kept nailing 3 pointers while East Carter stayed in a zone. BC played well again as a team with Branham & Shannon hitting some big 3's as well. East was just totally overmatched tonight and were never really in the game.

Big game for the Lions, looks to be coming together again

at the right time.Owens was impressive as did the whole team.

This is a statement,

This is only a statement,

This is a statement of the Boyd County Lions Basketball Broadcasting System. :thumb:

Don't hear too many haters on tonight, redblood. Must all be spectators. :thumb:

Dont be a hater,

Just get on the escalator.....Cause Boyd's stock is rising :ylsuper:

I like big wins and I can not lie

You other brothers can't deny

That when a team walks in with an itty bitty chance

And the win makes you wanna dance

You get sprung

Sorry, gotta to rapping there a bit...sorry... :ylsuper:

Tough to bash him the way he is playing lately. Only complaint from other teams must be that he is making too many shots. Shame on Antonio, he should know better

Congrats to Boyd CO. on the win. Heard they hit 12-20 three point attempts. When that happens it's tough to not win a ballgame.

In the 16th each game is different and match-ups are different.

Reprimand given to RedBlood!

Stick to your day job.... :thumb:

Congrats on the "V".

Congrats to the Lions on the win. I couldn't help but laugh at Dave Cantrell's story in today's editon of the Lexington Herald. He did a story on the Sweet 16 Drawings, and the favorites from each region. Here are his top picks for the 16th region.

Morgan Co., Fairview, Russell, Rowan Co., and Ashland. How in the world do you leave Boyd Co. out?

Congratulation to Boyd Co. on a big win. You seem to be peaking at just the right time and playing team ball.

I'm certainly not an Owens "hater". I said early in the season that he is the best player in the 16th Region. He is a little unpolished due to his lack of varsity playing time prior to this year. But, a diamond in the rough.

I predict Boyd Co. will win our Region this year.

Rowan and Ashland in? Boyd and Elliott out? Cantrell once again proves his knowledge of the 16th.

Cantrell must have orgotten to change his calendar, he obviously must be looking at last year. i thought part of being a reporter was doing research. Way to do your job Cantrell.
