July 9, 201313 yr It has been a great year! Starting out 2013, we were living with the mother in-law (that sucked!). But we are now in our house which is 2 months old. We found out two weeks before moving in that we are expecting a second child (a true blessing considering we've miscarried two times in a row). Got great neighbors and I'm in the area that I always wanted to be in (sure beats Covington). Didn't get a raise at work, but at least I feel like I have job security. Now I just need to start trimming off some of the 15 lbs. I gained while living with the mother in-law.
July 9, 201313 yr I am happy to hear that so many BGPers are having blessed years. I need to stay away from the politics forum; all I read about over there is how terrible everything is!
July 9, 201313 yr Been a great year for me. Added a puppy to the family in January, got engaged in May, and God-willing will have my car completely bad off by year's end so the only debt I'll have is my house. Yep, life's pretty darn good.
July 9, 201313 yr My year has been blessed. Lots of ups and downs as is the norm. But most importantly, my father who was diagnosed with liver cancer a year ago last week and given 6 months to live is still above ground and doing well. He played golf last week with my youngest and he still stinks, and that's just a blessing.
July 9, 201313 yr I can't complain. Good weeks and not so good.....that is life. As my neighbor always told me, "You'll get what the good Lord gives you and you just deal with it from there."
September 13, 201313 yr It's been going pretty solid. Didn't have a great outlook coming into 2013 because 2012 ended with the ol gal and I splitting up after a lengthy time together but it actually was probably a blessing in disguise. I was able to focus on things I wanted to do and so far I have been able to do those things. Bought a new car. Dean's list at NKU. Saw Dixie make the regional finals (baseball) with a young team. Met a new girl. Spent a lot of quality time with quality friends. Back to playing a lot of softball. Raise and increase in job responsibilities (that I enjoy) at work. And unfortunately that didn't work out. Wish Lexington and NKY were closer than an hour.
