That's what I am hearing. The Bluebird crowd is being awful quiet considering this team is so talented.

Highlands will be Highlands, just some new faces but these faces were kids last yr that probably start on just about anything team in the state as Sophs and Jrs.

 

The interesting thing that Dale does though is he never ever puts all his eggs in one basket (ie-Sr oriented team)

He and Weinrich like to have a combination of Sophs,Jrs and Srs starting each yr avoiding the cupboard to go empty

 

Lots of depth as always...

That's scary. When I think of HHS line I think smallish but very quick. Strength punishes and speed kills, and now they have both.

The idea is to continue to distance themselves from the competition.

I see Knox Central at 8, but a lot of this is based off of last year's 10-2 record (best in the school's history). They lost a great group of seniors who were part of the possibly the most successful class in the school's history. In that group included, of course, Jeffrey Canady who was a large part of their success rushing for over 2,000 yards among other things for the Panthers. This year, KC will have running back Jonathan Gist who rushed for over 1,500 yards in his own right. There are a lot of unknowns for this team going into the coming year, plus their schedule will be a bit more challenging. KC will be hard pressed to repeat that 10-2 mark, but third year coach Scotty Russell will have his guys ready to play.
