I believe the Supreme Court ruled that police are not here to protect & serve, they are here to enforce laws. So you are wrong, in a legal sense.

 

With that said, Id say most police do serve there community while they enforce laws.

I never said they weren't a form of public service. I said they serve by enforcing laws.

Police aren't Wal-Mart door greeters.
