A few 6 or 7 game stretches here and there, but they are going to have to get their head out of their tails real quick or they could be in trouble very soon...

June 27, 201313 yr The Reds are picking a good time to struggle. Cards arent setting the world on fire and Pittsburgh is getting hotter, but aren't separating themselves.
June 27, 201313 yr Also if you look at the end of their schedule, they play the Dodgers, Cubs, Brewers, Astros, Mets, Pirates(6 games). 12 out of their last 15 they play the worst teams in the MLB. 3 against a team that should be all but done. And 6 against an in division team they are racing with. I like that last month schedule. If the Reds are in the race, they will have numerous opportunities to separate/clinch. But that's 2 months away. Need to separate now and get hot.
June 27, 201313 yr Astros beat the Cardinals. Pirates are tied for 1st. Pirates may not do their 2nd half crash and burn this time. Time will tell.
