Holmes - Holy Cross Transfer?

Featured Replies

Yes heard the samething. Also heard Hc looked really good with her against simon kenton

She fits in really well with the HC girls! Excited to see what the season brings for them.

Can someone confirm my aging memory:

Frosh- HC

Soph-Holmes

Now Jr - Back to HC?

Has she changed addressed in any of these moves?

Who are we talking about?

I think her last name is Turner.

I believe you are correct and from what I've been told, no address change and I believe lives in the Beechwood district!

If she has never moved and the KHSAA allows the transfer (AGAIN) then just eliminate the darn rule. They're making a mockery of it.

Lee Turner's daughter? She is very good !!!

Why is she transferring back to HC?

Is her brother going to HC as well?

Heard this player was released and practicing with HC. Can anyone confirm?

So are you saying the KHSAA has reviewed the transfer and said they are waiving the one-year sit rule?

This is like a "soap opera"!

Yes it is Lawnboy13. It is named " As the World Turner's."

Would the KHSAA transfer rule effect her for summer scrimmages? Certainly the rule would/should play a part for the normal upcoming season, but isn't summer ball, something like unofficial practices? If so, perhaps the transfer rule does not encompass and dictate who you practice with out of school and over the summer. If this is possible, then just because she practiced with them in the summer doesn't necessarily mean that she will be "allowed" to play for HC in the winter. Perhaps they are rolling the dice by practicing with Holy Cross in the hopes that she can be "cleared" to play for them this upcoming season. I don't know...just a thought.

On another note, if anyone has read the book "Team Mates Matter" by Alan Williams, you would probably agree that this would be a great read for her and her parents. I highly recommend that they read it. It might help....maybe. It certainly couldn't hurt.

Not sure on the summer rule. I was told (by rumor) that she had been cleared. I found that hard to believe this early in the process considering the history and other things I had heard about others fighting it. So I asked BGP! They know everything!!

I'm guessing that she knew she would be allowed to play before announcing the transfer.
