The best player in Cardinal history IMO is Jonathan Jackson followed closely by Mikey Bright. I really don't know who I would put in third.

Take a guess at a 3rd?

And how about it Mayfield fans, what is your top 3?

I believe Mikey Bright's son is about to hit Mayfield High ... and is considered by some to be the next great one there.

#1 Mikey Bright

#2 Jonathon Jackson

#3 David Fowler

Some might have Marcus Moss and William Murrell on their list and maybe Micah Jones and Chris Barnes , Jon Redd, Joe Ford and a very long list it could be.

Bright's son will be a great one.

Here goes...

Not in order,

Johnathan Jackson... No explanation is really necessary.

Joe Prince... 1st team All American his senior year...Injured while playing at UK, or IMO, he had a real shot at playing on Sundays.

David Fowler... He was dangerous back in the 60's...who knows what kind of numbers he would put up in the current Cardinal style of play...He DID play on Sundays after a record setting career at Memphis.

It's really hard to pick just three... so many to choose from.

William Murrell

David Fowler

Jonathan Jackson

About 10 tied for third

No order, 4 off top of my head recently

Jackson

Burgett

Parrott

Luke Guhy

Older guys

Marcus Moss

David Fowler

Jon Redd

Any list without Joe Prince is not a good list.

Same could be said for Jackson.

It is really hard to have a sure fire top 3. Mayfield has been blessed with many great and very good players.
