Yet, with this plan, you have a rookie and novice defensive player in left who is hitting less than .200 versus lefties and you are moving your center fielder to right for the first time this year. You weaken your defense. Did putting the .182 lefty hitting Lutz in LF improve the offense enough to make up for weakening the defense in what should be a low scoring game where every run counts?

It won't matter anyway. 4 runs should be enough for Cueto and the bullpen. Might as well let Bruce try to get better against Wandy.

It isn't ignorant. There are just as many, if not more, very good reasons to have Bruce in RF as there are to not have him out there. Unfortunately, there are no clear good options for Dusty right now with the injuries. It is a pick your poison debate.
