Prosecutor: Ft. Mitchell Homicide Was Not A Random Act

Featured Replies

So you think it is okay for Sanders to use his personal Twitter account to post random things about serious criminal investigations his office is involved in alongside tweets about music, working out, some profanity, a shot at a local lawyer, his gambling habits, etc?

Why wouldn't it be?

I would have an office Twitter account if I were him.

If I was his boss I would insist on it.

Then you are not okay with what Sanders is doing and you in fact agree with me.

PP and UK, we are talking about a Commonwealth Attorney that has to maintain the highest ethical standards and professionalism.

I agree with you. Either he uses that account for official business only, or get a seperate account for the official business, and one that is professional, and not having personal stuff such as profanity, his gambling habits or personal shots at anyone.

I am cool with the use of Twitter by public officials. So if you're OK with a public account then we agree.

Totally agree. He needs to separate his business tweets from his personal tweets. People need to know if information is coming from the official commonwealth attorney's office or just the mind of Rob Sanders. Big difference.

Agreed. And if his job is allowing him to have a twitter account that he can be personal and professional on then I have no issue with it. As a nosy human being who loves to know every detail possible I love it. Is an official twitter account that is strictly professional a better route? Absolutely. I have no problem with him using his twitter account for personal and professional use. It's the 21st Century. Times are changing. I've used my personal Facebook page for union business and recently created a private page for us to be able to communicate openly without holding back. I'll be using the private page a lot more in the future but if there is something union related that company folks can see I won't hesitate to use my personal page to get the message out right next to my steak and chicken on the grill with the signature can of Bud Light in the background. :D

I'll never discuss anything specifically about Corning on either page because Corning doesn't allow it. If his bosses allow it then I say go for what you know.

I checked and there is an official account for Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney @KentonCAO.

If that was the case this clown wouldnt be in office.

I see that, only the referenced Tweet by the reporting news origination isn't on the official account, it is on the personal account of Sanders.

So we both agree Sanders should not being doing this on his personal Twitter account but it is okay on the official Twitter account of the office?

I am not saying that or agreeing with that at all.

I don't know Rob Sanders, I just believe he needs to re-examine his use of Twitter.

Is this victim any relation to Leslie Briede that was murdered in the 90s by Carlos Falkner?
