Funny side note, Jamie Miller(Dr. Miller's daughter) at the younger ages was a better pitcher but she was even better at soccer, so she split her time between the two. Also, Jamie stopped growing and Kirsten kept growing taller and working her butt off to get better.

 

I think that Kirsten's parents were both from Oklahoma and her mom played softball at Oklahoma or maybe basketball.

Ky Cobras, most everyone was from NKY. Chip Gregg was the head coach, it was either U10 or U12 not sure, Kirsten was a year older than my daughter.

Kirsten was a tremendous volleyball player as well as softball. I believe she quit playing club (but kept playing at Ryle...I think) her junior year. She had D1 offers for volleyball at the time she hung up the knee pads. A true two sport athlete.

Fortunately AND unfortunately I got to see her up close. Pitchers like her are one of the reasons why high school moved the mound back to 43 feet.
