WOW! Pretty impressive.

Pretty Crazy, the one that jumps out to me is the 1,865 K's. I wonder how many batters she faced over that time, guessing it was well under 3,000.

Wow that girl was dominant, also spotted Collins coach Suzanne Witten Cates on the list.

Fortunately AND unfortunately I got to see her up close. Pitchers like her are one of the reasons why high school moved the mound back to 43 feet.

Either way it is great that they moved it back, having a daugther that does not pitch I wouldn't mind if they moved it back another 2 or 3 feet.

I agree that a hard throwing pitcher from 40 feet can be difficult to hit. However, the extra 3 feet gives the ball more time to break for a pitcher that has mastered pitches like a riseball, dropball, curveball, screwball and even a changeup.

I wish that's the way it was now a days in softball. Schools and familes are committing way to early but I don't see that changing. My kid verbaled early in her Soph year and it seems like forever ago. I know our org has had several girls the last couple of years verbal to big D1 schools before ever playing an inning of HS ball.
