May 27, 201313 yr My thing with the decimal is going to tiebreakers. I hate that a scrub QB on the bench will be the deciding factor of a week when he's not even in the lineup. Decimal points greatly reduces the risk of ever going to tiebreakers.

I would rather have a guy have 79 yards and score 7 points instead of 7.9 points. That's the way I have always played with one exception. I played it an NFL.com league last year and they used decimals. I didn't like it and I won't play on there again. IMO if you start adding decimals you start getting gimmicky and getting away from the core of this league. Staying with the concept of the core of the league, the average score last year was 74.5 ppg with a team going over a 100 points less then 10% of the time (31 total). I don't think we want to make this a scoring league where everyone get 100 each week. And I think by adding decimals or a PPR we would do that.
May 28, 201313 yr Author My first 10 – 12 years of playing fantasy football we scored TD’s only; rushing, receiving, or passing along with FGs and XPs. Then we added yardage, a 3 pt bonus for a 100 yd game rushing/receiving or a 300 yd game passing. 35 -40 points were BIG games. So I think we are high scoring now.
