BGP Fantasy Football League – Scoring Review

Featured Replies

What about .5 PPR instead of a full point? I think minus for dropped passes would be silly not even in the same class as fumbles and INTs.

Don't ask for any type of decimal points in this league. I tried it last year and got my head ripped off.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that as well. Decimal points would be a great addition. Pretty much would eliminate any ties.

We've had one tie in 10 years

1 too many...:lol2:

Funny how the ones griping the most for scoring changes are the ones who've had to reapply several times :lol2:

I'm just not a fan of taking points away. I really don't like taking away points from the QB for an interception.

I guess that's why you forgot to add the (-) to interceptions last season. I don't have an issue with the defensive points and I prefer PPR but then again you lose all your historic records with new point additions.

Say what? :irked:

QB - I think interceptions should be -1 point

Fumbles should not be a negative point deduction. Here's why, the RB could fumble, but his team recover. Based on the stat sheet, the RB has a fumble. Should it be a negative point even though his team didn't lose the ball? No

PPR - I'm fine with PPR, but think you then need to move the yardage to 20yds per point instead of 1 per 10yds.

Kickers - I do think the longer the FG, the more points you should get. Specifically over 50 should be big points. I also think if there's a way to deduct a point(s) for missing anything under 40 that should be added.

Defense - a Shutout should be HUGE points and then a significant drop off to the next tier.

No 1/2 points or .5 points or partial points, however you want to put it. The website has a backup player for you to select in case of a tie-breaker. If a secondary tie-breaker is needed, then I say total bench points should be used.

That's why the negative points are for "Fumbles Lost".

Purely coincidental. I'm always going to say what I feel regardless. Whatever conclusion you want to jump to is fine with me. No sweat off my back.

Not to mention. I'm trying to keep it as is. I think your insult missed its mark.

I like that much better then -2

I agree, let's not mess with fumbles

I hadn't thought about that, I like it. Also, we can leave the yardage alone and do a point per every 2 catches

Currently a FG's 1-39 yards 3 pts, 40-49 yards 4 pts, 50-59 yards 5 pts, and 60+ yards 6 pts. Should we look at that?

It's currently 10, what do you think it should be?

and it's amazing how many people do to add one.

Everyone is scared of that plantmanky team and what the duckies will do this year...

I thought I remember multiple times going to tiebreakers. That is what I was talking about.
