May 21, 201313 yr That was my whole point. If QBs lose points for interceptions and RB/WR/TEs lose points for fumbles then kickers should lose points for missed kicks. It makes no sense to punish some and not all. All leagues I have played in do that. I understand not doing it in this league because it's so deep and so many teams.

The thing that has always set this league apart and made it so competitive was the strategy and in depth thought that went into building a roster. This league has never really been a "scoring" league aside from the year we had the lineup of 1QB,2RBs,2WRs,TE,K,DEFST. To me not punishing QBs when they suck and "all the points we can score" mentality only turns the league into more fantasy bingo. Maybe bingo and luck make PP feel like he wont get kicked out...again. Just my thoughts.

Good try though. I just like offense. I like teams that average 95+ points a week. It's fantasy football and strategy is always involved if you pay attention to the scoring rules.
May 21, 201313 yr All leagues I have played in do that. I understand not doing it in this league because it's so deep and so many teams. Another good point. It's not like the average team score per week in the league points to this being an offensive minded league. You can score 67 points in a week and sweep a doubleheader.
May 21, 201313 yr I like the point per reception. It puts a little more meat on the bone for tight ends. Other than that, I like the structure the way it is. You start tweaking things too much and you end up with New Coke. And we all know how that ended up.

May 21, 201313 yr Author OK, I just looked at the possible scoring options and we can not do dropped passes, it's not an option.
May 21, 201313 yr What about .5 PPR instead of a full point? I think minus for dropped passes would be silly not even in the same class as fumbles and INTs.

I'm all about consistency. And my QB is Aaron Rodgers before anymore comedians pop up about my intent in interceptions not hurting QBs. My guy doesn't throw ints anyways. I just never understood why QB's scoring is held to a higher standard than everyone else. Punish one.....then punish them all. Even the Commish understood my point about kickers losing points for misses.

He does a fantastic job running this league year in and year out, so in Godot I trust.
