Reds at Marlins Series 5/14 thru 5/16/13

Not a tired arm. The Marlins had already seen him. The Phillies haven't, and they are a heavy LH hitting team.

The Marlins are, at best, a triple A team. If they don't have confidence in him to get them out, you skip his spot and replace him when Cueto returns. And the Reds "official" stance was a tired arm for Cingrani so they pushed him back a day. You think they put Cueto on 6 days rest for his return? Writing is on the wall for Leake...

Down to AAA or possibly in the Bullpen?

I think you're wrong, but we'll find out soon enough. Leake has pitched well enough to keep his spot IMO. Not that Cingrani hasn't.

I thought it was for sure Cingrani until they switched up the rotation with Latos moving up and Cueto working on a schedule to return Sunday/Monday. He'd have to wait until Wednesday now to replace Cingrani as things stand. Don't see that happening...

I still think the main reason was to throw a lefty they've never seen at the Phillies. Cueto can go Monday, and Leake gets a little extra rest between starts.

I still think you are guessing with some hard evidence pointing the other way... :D

Choo 8, Izturis 6, Votto 3, Phillips 4, Bruce 9, Paul 7, Hannahan 5, Mesoraco 2, Leake RHP.

Cozart looked good at the plate last night.

I would've placed a large sum of money down that he sat him today as a result.

Oh, and thank God he's sitting Frazier. It's about time. He's clueless at the plate.

My gosh Paul is awful in the field.

Reds lead 3-0 at the end of 5.

The Reds have to resign Choo period. IF not they better trade him in July for the best 3 players in baseball.......(you get my point) They can not let him just walk at the end of the season.

Choo with his 2nd HR of the game. Reds lead 4-0.

Choo has more HR (9) than Votto and Bruce combined (7).
