Sad to say pretty much.

How so? Has Coach Hicks officially resigned? Why would he leave Grant? What has administration done wrong?

 

What have they done right would be a better question? They've increased his workload in the school the last two years, tried not to pay him for extra duty work, and were forced to re-do a negative evaluation earlier in the year because they failed to follow procedures. They were trying to force him out for not being a yes man and, thankfully for him, he was able to leave on his own terms.
