Is this still open? Heard a very interesting rumor as to who was interested in it over the weekend. At first I blew it off, but my source seems to be more and more emphatic that it could happen. Just wondering what the status actually was down there.

I heard a few days ago that the job would be filled by a current Northern Kentucky coach but I will wait and see if there is any truth to it. If true, I'm somewhat surprised.

There have been a few names linked to the job, with the most recent being Jim Hicks. Former Mr. Basketball Todd May was the first name to be mentioned, followed by Frankie Smith (Sheldon Clark), Josh Cook (Lawrence Co), Mark Hatcher (Logan WVa), and now Hicks. Booher has also been rumored to be interested in returning to the job, but not sure how valid that rumor is. Randy McCoy (East Ridge) has also been mentioned, but Hicks seems to be the one that has been mentioned most...

How so? Has Coach Hicks officially resigned? Why would he leave Grant? What has administration done wrong?

Coach Hicks will be greatly missed. His enthusiasm for the game and how he cared for the players was well know . Sad day in the county of Grant.
