October 11, 201312 yr Author That's a lot of villains to be in a single film. Hopefully two of those are extremely small cameos to set up the next.I believe that's the plan. Although Rhino is in this film he's being set up for a bigger part in the next one. I like it though, although you may see the characters it may just be a quick reference or something to set up the next one. Marvel rocks!!!

October 16, 201312 yr Author "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" viral website The Daily Bugle has posted a new article about how Oscorp's stock went up despite an attack on Oscorp Tower by disgruntled Oscorp employee Dr Curt Connors (The Lizard). The article goes on to say that the company is developing new projects, including a flight harness for the military. There are also "significant advancements in robotics by the head of engineering division, Spencer Smythe." While it's difficult to say whether Smythe will appear in the sequel, he is yet another villain from the Spider-Man universe. Smythe invented the deadly Spider-Slayer robots to capture or kill Spider-Man.
May 1, 201412 yr Saw this last night in an advanced screening. Really solid. Had the typical Marvel movie corny jokes and some of the dialogue was weak, but very action packed, very entertaining. Jamie Foxx was awesome as Electro IMO.

May 1, 201412 yr ^Definitely worth it IMO. I'll add the guy playing Harry Osborne, Dane DeHaan, was perfect for the role IMO. Liked the first one better, but I typically do when it comes to sequels. My biggest issue was, and it's not really a spoiler, if you know the comics, you know how it ends. I usually hate movies that you know beforehand how it ends, but this one had my attention the whole time.

May 3, 201412 yr We saw it today and my reaction was about the same as the first one: good, but not great. Definitely some cheesiness in this one, particularly at the very end. Foxx was pretty good as Electro, but I'm not sure I liked the guy who played Harry. The strength of this one is the action, especially the opening 20 minutes or so. And I wasn't convinced after the first one, but I am now--that Andrew Garfield is a better Spider-Man than Tobey McGuire. And Emma Stone is a far better love interest than Kirsten Dunst. 2 1/2 out of 4 stars for me.

May 4, 201412 yr Jamie Foxx character could have been played by anyone, he really brought nothing to the character. Harry Osborn was OK. Emma Stone may have been best character of the movie. Like Randy I like this guy as Spidey better than Tobey M. Story seemed thin, like something some high school kids would have written. ** out of ****
May 4, 201412 yr Way too much CGI with Electro fight scenes. Grew quite bored of them. Honestly, this would've worked a lot better without him. Overall still decent. Emma Stone is great. Garfield is MUCH better than Tobey. 6/10 seems pretty fair.
