June 3, 201313 yr A former student of mine posted a grammar correction to a previous Facebook post that he had made. Someone replied that there wasn't anything wrong with what he said and that if people didn't understand him, that was their problem. I really wanted to ask if the kid added 1+3 and got 72, would that be someone else's problem, too? What if he referred to Abraham Lincoln as our first president? We all make mistakes. Promoting them as a badge of honor is just silly.

And Topix is also the bastion of...how can I put this mildly. Stupid people. Yep, that's it, it's the bastion of stupid people. Yep, I browse my towns local Topix site from time to time I'm sad to say. And I think I have lost 20 IQ points in the process. On a more positive note, I do know now who little Jenny has been sleeping with and that she probably has VD and got it from Mark who just got busted for making meth.:banghead:
