Speaking of McVeigh, he was arrested, prosecuted and executed in just over 6 years. That has got to be close to a record for length of time on death row. USA average is over 25 years on death row, some states much less (Texas under 11 years).

Me too. It would be particularly disturbing if the FBI knew much about these guys yet they still managed to pull off the bombing.

He is an American citizen. He should be prosecuted as such.

If we are going to use 'enemy combatant' for domestic activities by 'terrorist' and eliminate the protections of citizenship maybe Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn can finally face justice.

Much more manageable to keep focus on immediate players. Expanded involvement creates problems for the government. Especially if the connections go to foreign governments that we are trying stay 'friends' with at state to state level.

He shouldn't have any rights whatsoever. You kill innocent people then you lose your rights. Especially if you do so with weapons of mass destruction. Our country is so soft.

He's a Citizen of the United States and has Constitutional rights to a fair trial by a jury of his peers. The benefit is that our country follows the constitution no matter how horrible the crime is, which ensures that all Citizens receive their constitutionally protected right to a fair trail in the event they are charged with a crime. There are no con's in my opinion.

^THIS! As I, and others have said since just a couple of hours after the bombings, it appeared to be domestic, and it is turning out that is the case. Reguardless of how horrific the crime, he IS a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and deserves the same rights as anyone else. We will still get the information we need.
