CCH made some nice plays in the field and very few (if any) errors.

I'd say the throw by Schriever to the plate was decent, not great, but got the job done. It was about 10 feet up the 3rd base line.

The play at the plate in the bottom of the sixth looked to be a bad call from sitting right behind the plate. Looked safe by a bit. Not that it would of mattered in the grand scheme of the outcome.

I think it is pathetic that CCH parents sit down the 3rd base line/bleachers and drink beer. Come on. You need a drink that bad that you have to drink at a high school game on a thursday night. Now if there were any St.Henry parents doing this also (and I didn't see any) then that is pathetic also.

I noticed the same thing.From what I can tell its the same click of people and they are from Cov Cath.They always sit up the line and drink.I think it is pretty sad when you cant go to a school baseball game and not drink for a couple hours.How pathetic is your life when you cant go enjoy your sons ballgame without a beer in your hand.Oh well guess you can just go say a few hail marys on Sunday and all is forgivin lol.

Wow, while I would never (at least have never) personally drink on school property, during a school event but I think we are getting a little carried away calling folks pathetic. Especially, if someone were to say, have a beer or two at the Bellevue Vets, ugh...really? If I want to have a beer or 2 with another dad (or mom) or 2 during one of my son's summer games and practice a little discresion, whay should anyone else have an issue with it?

Its a school function.I do not think adults should be getting drunk at a kids baseball game on school property.How about getting drunk at graduation?No differance its a school function on school property.Have your beer when you get home.If you cant go 2 hours without a beer you got a serious problem.

I don't have a dog in the fight either way when it comes to drinking, but I will say that some schools do not allow alcohol at their games due soley because of liability issues. Someone has one too many at a game and has an accident leaving there are lawsuits they would prefer to avoid.

I agree, drinking at HS events is ridiculous. With that said, after enduring hoops season this year, a keg of Budweiser on tap would have come in handy. LOL

Qrych11.....sounds like you r a hoops fan.....our Lady of Lourdes grade school hoops tourny sells beer at the school......the stage is the "bar"............great chicken fingers also...

And yes, beer cans in some of the cups. I ran into a really nice guy at the restroom as I was leaving and all I could say was "really?".

Wow. That is surprising. Is this something that happens at other outdoor high school events like football or soccer?
