It's a figure of speech' date=' people need to lighten the heck up IMO.[/quote']

I laughed, but I'm a bad person. But surely you don't think it was put out there as just "a figure of speech".

As a business, I'm not sure it's the best move. People take their sports serious and if your intended clientele is sports fans, not sure I'd potentially run a decent chunk of them away.

Probably not, but I don't see it hurting their business in the slightest. Do they sell "bar food"? Check. Do they sell beer? Check. Are they a sports bar? Check. It'll be packed all day and night.

Are they 30 minutes away from Louisville? Check. Are a lot of their customers UL fans? Check. Are many of them turned off by it? Check.

This picture has been ALL OVER my Facebook feed and not once in a positive manner.

I would almost guarantee they'll still be packed.

Haven't confirmed, but many people said it was taken down today.

Someone probably called corporate and they made them remove it.

Meh.

The picture didn't show on my phone could someone reply what it said?

They just got my business. I know where it is located and next time I go through Bardstown I will be stopping at Buffalo Wings and Rings!!!!!

While I am deprived enough to see the humor in the sign, I Agee with those who say that it is in poor taste. It does not reflect well on the company and is uncalled for in my opinion.

Actually, they're a franchise store, so I don't think they answer to corporate the same way.

Regardless, they were taking a beating on facebook for it and have since changed it to "Win for Ware" or something along those lines. The owners are Kentucky fans, and it's not a secret, so some Louisville fans might view it as malicious. On their facebook page they defended it by saying they were just repeating what Ware said to his teammates on Letterman the other night (I didn't watch the program, so I don't know what he said).

While I still think they'll be busy today, there may be some folks choose to go elsewhere because of it. The owners didn't think it through very well, to be sure, but I don't think they meant any harm. They're good guys, and I'll go back.
