Who is the highest jumper in NKY?

What about the picture with the kid shooting a floater, why didn't you start bringing up smart elic remarks about that one.....JV PLAYER.:thumb:

I believe that's a picture of the aforementioned one handed alley-oop dunk by Bray. I didn't see it but Qyrche said he did it over Towles and in that picture he's rising above Towles.

Dwight Campbell could flat out get up!

I was lucky enough to play with Dwight (well mainly sit the bench while he played), he was so fun to watch bc he dunked everything. We played Oak Hills his senior year at Holmes and he threw several down that game, and we put a real scare into them only being down a point or two in the last minute.

The Dwight Campbell, Chris Haynes dunk off at Scott in 92 was the most fun HS sporting event I ever saw. Both players were on fire and playing well above the rim.

Not sure what Campbell was listed at as far as height but I am pretty sure he wasn't 6'. He would have to go down as the best center under 6' to play in NKY.

Haynes was a great leaper, and he did not dunk softly. Great scorer as well. I remember watching Holmes vs Withrow, and they had two 6'7 or 6'8 players in the middle, one being John Jacobs that ended up at UC. In a half court offense, Campbell took a drop step into the middle and dunked over both their big men. I would say Cambell was 6'0, maybe 6'1 at best. If ESPN showed HS highlights back then, it would have definitely been in the top 10. Has to be the best HS facial that I've ever seen.

THE THREAD IS NOT ABOUT DUNKING FOR PETE'S SAKE!!! It is who can jump the highest!( that guy is funny)

I would like to think Dwight was at least 6' I would say 6'1 Now his little brother Josh could get up too and he was under 6 foot.

Sorry for getting off topic. So glad you're there to reel me in. My vote: Dwight Campbell. Sorry I decided to add some examples of his extreme jumping ability. And no, I don't have specific measurements on his vertical. I promise to stay on topic in the future.

They are not just talking about the dunks. They are proving a point that the players listed here have great jumping ability. I suggest you get out of this thread... You are looking like a complete idiot. You appear toy don't know how to use this website. The best advice I can give you is to stop posting. All you are doing is trying to cause trouble.

I am about 6'1 and I would say I am just a slightly taller, of course his arms were REALLY long. If I remember correctly he had upwards of 80 dunks his senior year. How would that translate to some of the better dunkers or high jumpers in the area.

David Dinn from boone county could jump...

No suggestion need or will be abided by. I was just relating what you told me. You need to learn to respect others post. Just cause its not what you wanna hear. Not trying to cause trouble just giving MY opinion. I started speaking of Dunks after someone else did. I didn't see you attack there post. So

This thread has more than ran it's course.
