Get ready for another Carson Palmer drama

He'll be the starting QB in Arz is where my money is. I don't blame him. Raiders have been vocal that they are rebuilding again and looking for young QB. Writing is on the wall for him that he will be a backup there sooner rather than later so the Raiders can see what they can build on w young QB.

Palmer to Fitz.

If Matt Leinart can find a job as a backup then I have no doubt CP could do the same.

I was thinking the same thing about 45 year old Charlie Batch! You might not want Palmer starting for your team, but there is probably some good to him holding a clipboard and wearing a hat on your sideline.

And he would probably start for each of those teams.

I agree with you; however, if the Raiders release him, do you think one of these teams would pay him what the Raiders are offering. Seems risky on Palmer's behalf, but he's never been known as a good decision maker . Look how things worked out for Ellis Dummervill, he took a lot less from the Ravens than the Bronco's reduced offer.

I have a feeling he'd hold the waterjugs if he could play for a team that wins.

And it's painfully obvious to me... Carson Palmer, is, honestly, just terribly, terribly, mentally weak. He basically said he wants to win, but doesn't think he can consistently do it, so he wants to play somewhere else

I don't think it is about the money. Thinking back I remember Palmer talking about being extremely financially secure when he "forced" his way out of Cincy. For Carson I think he will definitely take less money to win. Carson may have two or three decent years left and in his mind I am sure he thinks with the right team he can achieve greatness. As much as I would like to see that, I think Palmer has been on a downhill slide ever since his knee injury. I see him as a .500 QB on a good team but who knows. One thing is for sure, the upcoming NFL season will be more interesting for me if Palmer is in Zona compared to Oakland.

Why? Do you have something against the Cardinals?

Actually I am a Card fan and I have attended one of their home games. I like the idea because I think Palmer/Oakland have almost zero chance to win this coming year, in Zona I think there is a chance and that makes it interesting.

Really? Well at least don't put any money on it.

By win in Zona with Palmer I mean 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 type winning.

Oh. Forgot that's how us Bengals fans roll.:lol2: Good luck.
