March 26, 201313 yr I read a book by two retired CIA investigators who are recognized as experts in body language/lying. They say it's a myth to use the "they looked away when talking" measure. They say you have to get baseline reactions to things you know are true and then look for different reactions. Some people look away because they're nervous. Some simply can't look people in the eye. My body language experts would disagree. But, definitely an inexact science if ever there was one.
