KentuckyJoe
Love the Breds plan every year of playing large talented schools to help prepare for AA play. They may take a few lumps early but should be more than ready when things really matter.
Lawnboy13
Ashland Blazer taking the place of Cincinnati McNicholas, I like seeing a new opponent on the schedule.
ColdHard
Tough way for a new coach to open. I see the possibility of an 0 - 5 start. That being said, they may go undefeated in district play and wind up a 1 seed at 4 - 6.
G1
I like the schedule. Still won't play Highlands and give Highlands their breather game, but I like the schedule. 0-5 is a distinct possibility. Ashland is just going to line up and run it straight ahead. They have good RB's too.
ColdHard
Agreed, Ashland RB's will be the best NCC will see this year. Most of the O line graduated. Last years OL was very good.
dennis12b
You could have played them last year but Dale said no.
katbird
Saw a tweet from an HHS player that said both NCC nad HHS had an opening for week 0. Dale told the players he asked the powers to be at NCC to play and they flat out said no..
G1
You could have played them last year but Dale said no. Highlands doesn't give up home games to line Gamble's pockets. Gamble needs to hold down a job. He bashed Highlands for years, but wants them for a payday. I'd rather see Highlands hold out to principles, even if it means not getting the chance to hammer NCC. ColdHard
You could have played them last year but Dale said no. Dale said he would not break an existing contract with Boyle. Nor was he willing to give Gamble a payday and let him have the Boyle game. Highlands v NCC week zero at DCM next year could have made huge $$$$. $12 a ticket and it would sell out in two days of pre sale. About a fifty grand profit. But NCC said no. What is the fascination w Highlands v NewCath? It used to be a great rivalry, but NewCath's enrollment has shrunk, Highlands focus on football has sharpened and it would not be a good game most years. It shouldn't be, Highlands is twice the size of NewCath. NewCath doesn't have Highlands depth.
Porky
Very strong schedule for a 2A team. Very impressive as usual.
THUNDERBIRDS
Lord people.....Stop it with the HHS/NCC matchup. HHS doesn't need this game and NCC doesn't want this game...Period!

It wouldn't benefit either team outside the finances.
