The game had just as much intensity as their first meeting. SK could not hit a free throw and struggled to block out and rebound. Goodlett was a beast down low for the Dragons while Barnes played a terrific all around game for the Pioneers and lit it up from deep. Without a doubt the key in the game was the free throw shooting, South hit in the 4th while SK missed all night. Best of luck to the Dragons tonight and to the seniors from SK in their future

Congrats South Oldham

Hope one of these days SK can get over the hump known as the Oldham schools, seems like it ends this way for them since they came to the 8th.

Well back to the drawing board!!! Same story different year.

Yeah, because losing one starter to transfer and another to injury is the same story...

I thought they were going to dominate the 8th region when they came? Still waiting on that

Who ever said that? No one...

As I've said many times. The hatred for SK in the 8th is comical, it's almost sad...

No reason to hate SK, they have split Oldam 3times and they still seem to win it on a regular basis. Imagine Scott county being split three ways, you think that might change their success rate just a little.

Kenton County has Simon Kenton, Scott, and Dixie. Many counties are split up, Oldham is no different. That was Souths first ever regional win, so I wouldn't say regular basis.

There are at least 10 high schools in Kenton County.

I think arguing about the split when the schools mentioned have 1000+ students is futile. A ton of schools around the region dream of having that type of enrollment.

Can you name them? I'm struggling to come up with 10. Not being rude just trying to identify 10.
