St. Xavier 2013 Football Schedule

Featured Replies

I can honestly say, the Tigers cannot go 16-0. 5 playoff games and a maximum of 10 regular season games limit your possibilities. I am glad to see the Tiger faithful are excited about football again. With all of the expected offensive prowess, you may need two footballs in play to keep everyone happy.

 I forgot its only 15. Thanks for reminder, but I trust the staff to utilize everyone to their full potential.

We all know Moeller and the Bombers are chopped liver as well. "Delusions of grandeur" appear to be the order of the day.

Nobody said they would be easy but I just like my tigers

If they beat Trinity they are counting it as 2 wins.................

Bowling green game I see will be the only hiccup if any because its early in the year.

I dont see the purps pulling a three peat. The Tigers got em at home and we have just as many skilled players back as they do.

I expect a high scoring affair, and just recall a point in the game last year where the Tigers were up and squandered their lead when Gahafer got hurt and the play calling got even worse than normal.

I dont disagree that this will be a tough test, but I think the Tigers jump all over them.

August 23- Home vs. Ballard

August 30- Away at Lexington Catholic

September 6- Home vs. Bowling Green

September 13- Home vs. Fairdale

September 20- Away vs. Moeller:eek::madman:

September 27- Away vs. Central

October 4- Home vs. Trinity at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium :sssh:

October 11- Home vs. Male

October 18- Away at Manual

October 25- BYE WEEK

November 1- Home vs. Cincinnati St. Xavier :ylsuper:

The Guru asked! I see 7 wins and 3 losses in my crystal ball. If the Tigers lose more than 3 in the regular season, the Wolford experiment may be shorter than he predicted.

I know Bowling Green has a lot coming back from their '12 Championship team and trinity is trinity. What about the two out-of-state teams. They'll both top programs, but does anyone have any "insight" on Moeller or Cincy St. X?

I know Cincy x returns there feature back while Moeller loses there's along with their star qb. Bluebomber94 should be able to help here.

Both will be solid teams. Moeller lost a lot of big time players but from watching how good their JV & Freshman teams were I know the they will be pretty good & Cincy X actual has a lot returning at key spots so they will also be pretty good. I don't think LOU X or Trinity can beat either team this season.

Dude it's okay to support your team but you are clearly over the top & we will see who will be laughing after you play Cincy X, Moeller, Trinity & BG.

No Disrespect but Lou X will be lucky to be Beat BG.

I glad to see you are excited about this years team but in the end Lou X will lose to Cincy X, Moeller, & Trinity

BTW- Did Lou X beat any of those 3 on the freshman,JV or Varsity level last year?

I'm sorry sir, I just thought that was funny. Lou X will lose every game this season. Is that what you want to hear?

using this as basis, in your eyes will Louisville X not be "pretty good" as well since they too return "a lot in key spots".

Since when did freshman and jv football equal varsity success? Lost by 7 to Moeller Varsity, 1 To T varsity, and 14 to Cincy X Varsity.

Listen Dude. I won't even get caught up in this with you. I can give you numerous examples. Most of the time when a program wins against a school at the freshman & JV level they win on the Varsity.

Also I'm not saying Lou X won't be good this year. I realize they have a lot returning & I think they are going to be good. But I don't see them beating Cincy X, Moeller or Trinity. However,I do think against those 3 schools they will lose in close games.
