it doesn't sound bad either. There just aren't Any sophomores that could unseat a junior this year. And only school I see is Moeller.

It sounds like X has the size upfront to be very good. There are two positions on each side of the ball that I'm eager to see if there is improvement: QB and LB. sounds crazy for me to mention LB, but watching some highlights they make quiet a few false reads.

 

But can't wait for the 2013 season to kickoff!

I kow Hayden is an upgrade I can't speak on bj nagle for I don't know too much about the kid. Can u elaborate what you mean regarding lbs.

Sure I can. The way I learned was for LBs to read the offensive guards. In some highlight outage that I watched it seems that their LBs get caught out of position or reading the action in the back field too much. Maybe they're doing what they're taught to do by Coach Walsh, but I feel that X's LBs need to improve on reading the correct offensive player, instead of just going with the flow in the backfield.

Oh ok. Maybe it could've been the players as well. But their is a lot of change coming to this team, so I'm excited and ready.

What incoming juniors would contribute?

 

QB Noah Houk will see a lot of minutes during most of these games because of the scores. (Most Likely to be 2nd String to back Nagle)

 

DB Tyler Boarman (6'0" 170) is definently one to watch as a rising junior. Plays both bball and fball and really just has an act for making plays!

 

WR Michael Ackermann is a speedy slot receiver (Wes Welker like). Definently could see Coach Nagle and Wolford using him to mix in with the senior WRs.

Nagle is the real deal! I have seen some of there unofficial throwing sessions and he can sling the ball! I would put him next to a Buenher caliber impact player (... I know crazy!!) He's going to beat you with his arm, not his legs. BJ is getting some serious looks from top schools which really hasn't happened for a St. X QB it what seems like forever! With his dad as an influencial person in play calls, it will be a really fun offense to watch because the plays will be tailored to his strengths. Doesn't hurt that he has the best corps and running backs and absolutely MASSIVE offensive line and the defense will give them the ball plenty of times to work in great field position! Getting goose bumps thinking about how good they can be! I'm Definently talking 16-0!

Buehner was mobile as well, and from the players I've spoke with nagle isn't that mobile. But I guess you said Buehner in reference to impact ant not play style so....but they did say he can really throw, a significant upgrade from Mattingly is what I was told but no where near as mobile. As far as all the surrounding pieces, they definitely will not hurt. Put me on the train for 16-0

I can honestly say, the Tigers cannot go 16-0. 5 playoff games and a maximum of 10 regular season games limit your possibilities. I am glad to see the Tiger faithful are excited about football again. With all of the expected offensive prowess, you may need two footballs in play to keep everyone happy.
