If you combine the entire student sections of Ryle, Newport and Dixie, CovCath I am guessing, had triple what those other schools combined had in attendance tonight.

I don't think many are surprised by this stat. Very few schools have had good student support this year from what I have seen.

First off, congratulations to you and your team TOG!

 

As for the student sections I will say the Crazies always step up the plate. The Dixie section (as I can't speak for Newport or Ryle) was small but I did notice a large number of students who elected to not sit in the student cheering section, but rather with their families dispersed throughout the crowd. So while it is most likely true that the Crazies had more than all 3 combined, the numbers are different if you look at total in attendance vs total in the cheering section.

 

Either way, congrats again and good luck this weekend.

In the 2nd half Ryle went 13 straight minutes without scoring. There are 16 minutes in a half.

For what reason did they move the student section right before the game started..............It was like a mob scene. Not a really good move if you ask me..........putting them in chairs when they were in the bleachers.....................

I am aware of that....................But it ended up being a huge mess with workers going nuts about the students climbing over chairs, etc............Perhaps that should have been taken care of prior to them arriving?

Let me echo the sentiments about Drew Mays. Great kid and actually played pretty well tonight. He dropped some dimes that a couple of his teammates didn't finish on.

 

I was also surprised to see Mullins sit all the seniors and put the JV kids in...the student section let him know about it as well. Talked to a guy a couple weeks ago that I see at the gym all the time, who is good friends with Alan....I'd be surprised to see him on the Ryle bench next year.

 

Congrats to Covcath on the win. Bo Schuh is playing with a lot of confidence right now. I'll have the post game interview with Coach Ruthsatz up later.

 

I have a nephew on the team and he said it was ugly last night. I feel awful for the kids. I was not at the game but talk to him when he got home. He said he loves the other players and coaches but has a tough time playing for Mullins. I hope it works out best for the kids.
