Right, Totally respect what the Dawgs have done this year. But in that game both them and NC shot lights out.

Look, IMO the Dawgs are the 2nd best team in 9th. But They trailed NC by 8-13 most of the second half. Having said that, I said in another thread that CovCath pulls the upset on Friday, so I don't want to contradict myself. I just see CovCath shooting it well again at Holmes. I just think ALL teams shoot well there and feel the Dawgs could find the shooting not so easy in BOKC. Just a theory. That's why they play the games, I guess!!

Bolden? Yes. Holmes as a team? No.

I wouldn't call 48% from the field shooting lights out. That is about what Holmes averages as a team.

Newcath on the other hand did shoot lights out at 58%. Seibert had a career night and Newcath hasn't played that well since.

Ther is no way Holy Cross or Beechwood should be in the same district as Holmes or Covcath. It is hard to compete when 2 schools have 500 boys to choose from and the other 2 (HC & BW) have what200 or so to choose from. They can't compete on a yearly basis.

I would love to hear how you would split the districts up then. What do you do with Beechwood or Holy Cross?

NCC seems to be able to do this.

This sounds more like a case being made for multiple Classes in basketball.

Districts , like regions are geographical. Nothing to do with size of enrollment.
