Penick- Ludlow- inside-outside passes well, moves really well to be so big

Romes- Beechwood- Best finisher in Norhtern Ky

Jacobs- Cov Cath- Strong defender, good offense, basketball smarts

Hill- Holmes- strong and when he plays to his fullest cant be stopped

 

 

check yourself.... what about Vories?? he gets to the rim just as quick as Jefferson ...Mr. Clutch...has rolled against the state's best competition over the past 4 -5 yrs in AAU ball and has one of the best 1st steps in High school basketball this year.

I , for some reason, still have not watched Penick so I cannot comment on him.

 

However, Plug, good call on Hill instead of Rice. I'd go the same way.

 

I struggle, though, with not having Vories on the list.

 

The panthers travel to Beechwood Tuesday at 730... That will be a good one to watch Penick play in considering the Rivalries...

:confused: Relax..Just an oversight on my part. Put Vories back on my list but you are way wrong about Penick. Definitely a top 5 in NKY. Go back and re-read Equus Grevyi and his post. He has seen him on a number of ocassions and is a pretty impartial judge of talent.

Only problem I have with your list is, now that the season has gone along Jimmy Ryan isn't HC's best player. It's probably Steeken or Busse.

Sorry BigStud, I have to disagree. I think Jimmy Ryan is the best player HC has. He just doesn't get enough touches. If I'm HC I would run my offense through him. Just like CCH runs their offense through Jacobs. This kid is a pure shooter. Get him the ball. Stats might not say he's better, but I think talent does.
