Elliott shot well, took care of the ball, for the most part, and got a huge win in a game that could have gone either way. Starting three freshmen has led to some inconsistency, but they keep on winning. The 62nd District Tournament will certainly be fun to watch. By the way, it is interesting that Elliott is now 2-2 against the recognized top three teams in the region.

When playing each other:

 

Boyd Co: 2-1 (No more games against the other 3)

Morgan Co: 2-1 (still have to play Elliott and Fairview)

Elliott Co: 2-2 (still have to play Morgan and Fairview)

Fairview: 1-3 (still have to play Elliott and Morgan)

When do they draw for the district tournament.

Elliott hit 7 of 16 three's, and Morgan hit 8 of 16!!

The problem was they didn't shoot any better than that from 2 feet. :confused:

Shooting 50% during a game from anywhere on the court is pretty darn good!!!! Whether it be from 2 0r 20.

Let's get off the stats for a minute and talk about the atmosphere at the game. It was fun being a fan at that game. the place was crazy. reminded me of a district championship game. love games like that.

When Elliott is playing well they are hard to beat. Morgan is going to have to avoid the little mistakes when playing a hot team!
