Best Frosh in NKY

How tall is Ethan now? I have not seen him play in a few years.

 

If I had to guess I would put him just at or a little under 6'0". He could use a little time in the weight room, but this kid can stroke it and has a good feel for the game.

In all honesty, I am taking McGovney over any guard listed here, but if we were chosing sides and I had first pick. I want Carson Williams. Easily the most complete player for his age and would provide the most upside.

Ohmer has played up his whole life. He is an impressive athlete not just a basketball player..

 

He will play J.V and even some varsity for the baseball team this year. Probably will play J.V for the football team next year if he chooses to play again.

In the actual freshman league it has to be Jake Ohmer 8th grade guard for Scott. Everything starts with him. Tyler Bezold for HC is a great player too.

 

In all fairness to Ohmer if you are including 8th graders you have to go with Cole Von Handorf at Villa. Von Handorf is getting it done at the varsity level as opposed to the freshmen league.

Jake Ohmer does play for the Eagles freshman team. Markel McClendon plays varsity for HC. Tyler Bezold plays both J.V and freshman.

All fine athletes with bright futures. But I remember 2 years ago witnessing a frosh named Hatton score his 1,000th varsity point. None of these kids have that type of talent.

That is very true. Probably one of the best freshman talents that has played in NKY and possibly the state.

I've seen most of the frosh listed here. By far, Carson Williams is the best RIGHT NOW. I like Weyer and see a big future for him. Still growing into his body. Has some perimeter skills to go along with size.

True for now but let's see how tall Williams, Weyer, and Wilson wind up being. If any of these wind up 6'8" or taller things could change rapidly. Makes me wish my last name began with a "w".

I understand that but when he is the only player on the team who has played organized b-ball before he is the one taking most of the shots. He would be a stand out freshman player at CCH. Could compete possibly at there JV level but no way would he survive at the varsity level.
