Jenkins @ Lee All A

Featured Replies

Who will win this game? Lee is undefeated at home but Jenkins just beat LCC. What do you think?

Lee County big at home.

Lee should have no problem in this one. Lee to win big.

Lee should breeze through this one.

Jenkins did beat Letcher Central, and I'm still trying to figure that one out, but the same thing won't happen in Beattyville. When Lee is clicking on all cylinders it will be hard for anyone in the region to beat them.

I agree Professor. Lee gained a lot of confidence back last night in Jackson. Look for them to continue their winning ways.

I listened to the game on the radio and I could feel the excitement in the gym right in my living room. I would like to compliment the two 97.3 FM announcers....they do a great job! :thumb:

I thought they did well too Professor. It was a good game to listen to.

Someone mentioned that the jackson radion station (i'm assuming 97.3 fm) is going to broadcast the jenkins @ lee 2nd round game. not completely sure but was something that i had heard.

I hadn't heard that. I do know that Lee's games have not been carried on the radio this year yet.

Why is that? They have a good team. In the past few years 102.1 has broadcast their games with Darrell Hogan and Tom Hollon doing the announcing. Couldn't they work out another deal with the radio station.

Owsley County has their own station at the school, 88.3 FM, and Tommy Burns does all the home games and the tournaments. The station is affilated with Morehead State University. Maybe Lee County could go that route in the future if they can't work something out with the local station, which is a religious based, and may have some other kind of commitments taking up all their air time. IMO, though, the local station should do some of Lee's games as a community service for the school, kids, and fans. I mean, they are a non-profit station/organization, aren't they?

But I don't suppose my opinions carry much weight in Lee County

Lee Co. wins by 10 or more.

This game will be on WJSN radio. Just talked to them and it is very nice of them to cover this game for the fans!
