Yes. Maybe. I know out and out Bolden is certainly faster/quicker. But, not sure if Hatton's strength/size (compared to Bolden) could neutralize some of that speed in the half court.

Don't think they'll guard one another anyway, and they both get their own.

He's not going to be able to check Bolden. My guess is that BH will guard Coston or Palmer.

I find it unlikely that Booher and Co. overlook this game after Dixie's lopsided win last year.

A tough final stretch for the Colonels with games against Holmes, Holy Cross, CovCath, and Cooper still in front of them. It's time for the youngsters to saddle up and play their best ball of the year.

This will be over quick. BH and Q will get theirs as they the former AAU buds love to go at each like the old days. Seen Dixie play a few times this year and the Dogs flat out have too many weapons and speed for DH. I'm sure B is happy with his decision to attend Dixie but I sure would have loved to see him in a Dog uniform. He'd have at least one ring by now and possibly two.

Oh well it shud be interesting for a the first qtr but I see the Dogs taking off sometime in the first half and not looking back.

Depends on which Dixie team shows up. They hung with both Butler and Montgomery County for 3 quarters and beat a Scott team that gave Holmes trouble by 19 points. They also played tight games with Louisville Doss and E-Town. So, I wouldn't write Dixie off too quick. Just depends on if they wanna play or not. And, most of these Sophs have grown up playing with Beetle... they won't back down from him, nor be intimidated by him either.

Should we assume they'll be motivated for Holmes?

While it make not always look it B is always motivated IMO. Just doesn't always show it.

I agree about Brandon not looking motivated at times. I remember seeing him earlier in a game and he didn't seem like he really cared to be there. However. But he is a great player. I think this game will be over in the first half. I agree with the majority, doubt Hatton guards Bolton not quick enough.

No question. I've never doubted him despite his laid-back appearance.

Brandon Hatton returns home to Covington where he played AAU for the Tarheels organization. He will definitely get his points but the big question is will the others get their's? I don't think so.... Holmes by 20+. Also excited to see who wins the matchup between Hatton and Bolden. If Rabe guards Bolden, Bolden will have a field day.

I'll be surprised if either guards the other.

Bolden won't guard Hatton but I can't see Hatton not spending atleast some time defending Bolden.

I just keep waiting for that real clunker game (they've had halves) from Holmes or another team just being on fire (I can't remember anyone just lighting them up for a game; HC and Scott did for a half). Coston should have Hatton most of the night, but it won't matter he will get his no matter who is on him. Can Dixie get anything from the rest? At times they do, at other times they disappear. Holmes should win by 10-15, but I won't be surprised if they stumble here.
