I love how everyone either don't read my posts fully, or must be assuming things about my position despite my posts.

 

I said that as a whole I could live with it. I've said what I feel should be the most important restrictions/reforms. Are there more things I would prefer in an ideal world? Yes.

 

I feel the mental health funding issue should be addressed. But that's nit the end of the issue for me.

 

And, as I said before, everyone wants to focus on mass shootings. But my focus is on the people who die everyday, especially children, as a result of irresponsible LEGAL gun ownership.

The point you, and many in opposition, seem to miss, is the things you propose will have little to no impact. That's the problem.

 

You can't protect everyone, would be nice if it were possible, but you can't. My problem with this whole gun control thing is I know it's not about keeping anyone safe. It's about an agenda that was going to be pushed anyway, now they have children's deaths to shamelessly use to push for that agenda. Sickening.

What they want is simple, incremental, gun confiscation.

 

They went crazy with this new AWB to see how much the public would take.

 

They are going to "settle' on universal background checks so they can record and find out who had every gun in America eventually.

 

That way when another incident happens they technically have forced registration.

 

After registration.....confiscation, withing the next 5-10 years.

 

Don't say I am being paranoid.
