Despite Missing 2 starters, 29 turnovers and an Ice storm in Lousiville The Pandas held on for a

nice victory over Sacred Heart. Olivia Voskul carried the load 26 points and 19 rebounds.

What a player and what a performance - Voskul!!! Wow!!! Very, very impressive last night. Where will she play in college?

I was really proud of the effort from our SHA girls in this game. Too many missed layups in this one that helped ND get the W. We just don't have a deep bench and fatigue contributed to us missing shots. I am interested to hear NKY fans opinions on how the game was officiated compared to your area. I wasn't happy with how the game was calledSHA was up 1 at the end of the 4th qtr when ND hit a huge three. It was a dagger. We had our chances to pull out the win, but it wasn't meant to be this time.

Congrats to ND on a gutty win.

I agree...a gutty win. Traveling and playing on the same day can be tough. Also, ND does not have a deep bench either. Really only about 6 girls play significant minutes and most of the girls are big girls. So if fatigue played a role, I'd have to say that was on both sides. I would say ND helped ND get the win in this one!

Also, did Ogle not play in this one? If that is the case then this is a very impressive win!!! In my opinion, she was the unsung hero in the Highlands game. She does a lot of things for the ND team.

Cleveland State for basketball. She is also one of the top soccer goalies in the state as well.

Ogle was out sick for this one...and Paige Kellam the starting point guard was sick and only played the first 3.5 minutes and had to come out. The bench came through on this one.

Kellam showed up but could not go, Ogle was home sick. With the primary and secondary ball handlers out, SHA feasted on turnovers with at least 7 strips for layups at the head of key. It was until the coach put Olivia (that's right Olivia) at the point did they get a handle on things. Even Haley handled the ball up

top.

Voskhul is a great player...great win for the Pandas congrats

The officiating was par for the course. It seems this year they are letting them play. More fouls could of been called on both ends. We have had several games with no bonus attempts or gotten to the bonus late in the half. They did show good judgment on the timeout call for SHA. The coach cleary was wanting a timeout before the foul. Like most officials in the last 10 seconds of a game they swallow the whistle. Early in the game they did have issues keeping up with the speed of the SHA players.

Many of the missed layups were caused by the size of ND. Voskul may have had all the points but her contesting shots was the key to the win for ND.

I guess we should now have some SHA fans from ND rooting for us to win out because it makes them look stronger in the State.

Yes we missed layups because of the tall defenders, but we missed many uncontested layups! No excuses...ND beat us, but we are better than we played. For all of the ND fans that talk about rankings, ND should be considered as a factor in the State rankings for sure. Frankly they don't mean that much in the grand scheme of things, but they are a very good team.

OR, SHA fans can hope that ND wins out so it doesn't make SHA look bad! I'm sure ND is fine proving out their own fate. I do hope they get one more loss if the Birds can work their way back to them!

Olivia has played PG before for NDA. I remember the coach talking about using her there.

She is simply a talented all round player who is comfortable at any spot. She does love the 3 point shot but then again what player doesn't.
