Howard is the one publicly complaining about teammates. Kobe telling Pau to put his big boy pants on is nothing. Kobe isn't a great teammate that's for sure but to blame this on him is crazy.

I'd argue that getting Pau out of his mental funk/ie feeling sorry for himself would constitute being a good teammate. You may not like the words used but it seemed like the right message.

I think what sums up this discussion that you guys have been having in my eyes is that Kobe Bryant isn't a great leader. I feel like we always expect the best players on the teams to be the best leaders, which doesn't necessarily have to be true. I say Kobe isn't a great leader because I think to be a true leader you have to have a diverse leadership style to help others. Kobe seems more like a dictator.

I have never seen Kobe as a leader, more of just a winner. I always thought Derek Fisher was the "leader" of the Laker teams.

I will probably definitely agree with that and thought about posting something along those lines in my initial post. I think its overvalued in the NBA, not at much in the NFL. But I feel like that was more what was being argued between UKMF and PP92. Not his talent, and not really even him being a teammate, but more his leadership skill (from an outsider perspective to the discussion).

Kobe is the second greatest shooting guard of all time. Get in where you fit in.
