I really hope that when the new Bank of Kentuky Arena opens, they can take out the home floor advantage in all the district and regional games that gives the home team such an advantage, and to let so.....many more fans enjoy the games in comfort....... I sure hope someone comes up with a great nickname for the place but until they do thanks Bank of Kentucky for the money to make this arena finaly happen.

while Beechwood, CovCath, Holmes and Holy Cross will be killing one another. Highlands will have to bring their "A" to beat Newport and or NewCath, while in Boone County where it is always a hard fought District Tournament whoever comes out will be beat up also. Only Dixe will be as fresh as a new babies bottom come the Ninth Region Tournament and should be for years and years to come if history keeps repeating itself with the teams in the 34th.

KHSAA.ORG is showing that they won't seed. Dixie isn't playing Ludlow or Villa in the regular season. KHSAA also shows the District being played at Dixie this year.

Dixie vs Ludlow could be an unlucky first round draw for both teams.

Your Dixie team is a very good and has played a tough schedule. Now who has the other teams in the 35th played, much less beaten? Do you guys at Dixie want to trade Districts with anyone else this year from the Ninth region or even the next decade or so? I am sure that many of the other schools wouldn't mind at all playing your group of teams with Dixie not being in it.....
