Highlands vs St Henry Predictions

Featured Replies

The Birds finally open their season on Friday night at home on the new floor.

St. Henry comes into this game with I believe 4 games under their belt all losses. I am sure they will be hungry for a win.

The Birds looked good in early season scrimmages but very hard to determine how this will play out with so many football players just joining the team this week.

I have heard Houliston is already looking good in practice.

This will be a nip and tuck game down to the end. I think the Birds will have their work cut out since they are going to be limited on starters with basketball practice under their belt.

Birds in a squeaker.

You cant be serious. You still hatin on the Birds huh... those football score predictions didnt go so well for ya did they.

Highlands scored over 60 points in both of their scrimmages without 4 starters and St. Henry has averaged over 50 points a game.

St. Henry 31

Birds 28

A couple of years ago, this would have been a good prediction.

Got to admit, good one. :D

Those football predictions went great for me, I got a lot of mileage out of them on here. I'm actually an adopted Highlands fan, just got tired of all the thread jacking by a fan base this season and decided to have some fun. With that being said I'm sticking with my 31-28 call on this one.

Are you still predicting football scores?? St. Henry doesn't even have a football team and you have them beating us by a field goal!

Highlands 63-58.

Are you sure? Didn't they beat Silver Grove for the 1/2 A state championship.

I got St. Henry in this one in a close one. Maybe a different story later in the year when Highlands football players have their basketball legs. This should be a pretty good game though. Could go either way.

Will HHS be able to out score their football team this year?

If the scrimmages are any indication I would say yes. The problem is that the scrimmages were being played with 3 seniors, 1 junior and the rest sophomores, only a few of which will see varsity minutes this year.

Q, do you think the average will drop once the football players get the bulk of the minutes?

Its possible in December but no way they only muster 30 points. I would expect this game to be in the high 50's and possibly hit 60.

Last season's opener matched these two and it was at St. Henry. Final was 73-68.

Oh I would never think the birds would only score 30! I just wonder if they will slow down once the other kids get back in the mix. I think highlands will have a nice year.
