But depth wouldn't do you any good without him.Just saying. McClendon will provide the scoring Burger left void.

He should he's a nice ballplayer. He could get points with teams keying on Campbell.

Definitely not in that case. You made your point about Dixie and CovCath but raise of those 2 teams I think there is no player more important than Campbell is to his ream.

You can't believe that. Hatton is just as important if not more.Cov Cath would mediocre without Ruthsatz. They are all the same teams if u remove a top player.

He likes to jack up the 3's too correct.?

Only took 1 tonight but yes.

Wow you are on a mission here G. Let me explain, Campbell and Hatton are the best two players in the region by a good bit IMO. You take their presence out of the game and both HC and Dixie will struggle big time to compete with the top 6 or 7 teams. You take one player (their best) off the others and I think they will be competeitive and can still win. Ruthsatz, is very good, but CCH has others that can play and compete. Campbell and Hatton can beat teams by themselves with not much support, that is the difference. Both HC and Dixie lost too much experience and it will take time to replenish.
Would agree with pretty much all of that but Cov Cath would struggle to keep its head above the water too.
I think Dixie has the most talent from what I've seen. They are VERY young, but VERY talented. Watch out for this Soph class next season when they are Juniors.

Is this the same 10th grade class that lost 2 out of 3 to CovCath last year as Frosh?

i would say Holmes Ncc and Cooper would be able to loose a key member and keep going.

How about Newport defense by Aaroyl Wright held Hatton to 22 and Campbell to 10 kid can guard any and all sizes.

This is going to be an intersting year have seen them all play now that at HC has played. You could take the top 7-8 and mix match them every week.Wide open 9th this year no clear favorites but everybody home rooting team.

Not hard to do with Campbell only taking 12 shots. But when he wanted the ball they had nothing for him.And he was never alone was double teamed and tripled team all night

Yes, but without Nick Niehaus. He would have made a difference IMO :)

He was too busy playing JV and Varsity.

You forgot to mention Niehaus didn't play with that group , TOG, because he was playing up......like Schuh should've been doing as well instead of dominating freshman ball.

Dixie Soph group is the real deal. (Not saying Covcath isn't but I like the upside of Dixie sophs more compared to CCH)

Ruthsatz is in the group as Hatton/Campbell.

Without question. CCH does have more talent than Dixie and HC but he's the straw. There is no replacement for him to get the offense going.

Believe me, I think he is a very good player and makes CCH go, but I don't see him as dominating as Campbell/Hatton. I'm probably in the minority, though. I like the kid a lot and he is fun to watch.

Interesting that we have polar opposite discussions going in two threads. This one: CCH has enough balance. The other: CCH relies too much on Nick R.
