Found this on a website called 'Hotlist'

The KHSAA.ORG has gametimes @ 12:00, 4:00, 6:00, & 8:00 which I'm guessing to be inaccurate...

FYI:

Based on Kentucky.Com's pre-season Top 25 - Butler is ranked 25th in the state. Looking forward to seeing Campbell County's Nate McGovney as I have never seen him play.

Also think that the Dixie/Newport matchup could be a doozy

4 straight games is a B-Ball junkie's dream... I know what I'm doing today!

Camp co game is at 2:00

I know CovCath & Brossart won their respective games, but didn't see the other scores? Anyone?

Dixie beat Newport by 8.

Dixie beat Newport by 8.

Thanks--Heard Newport was much improved, and must be to hang tough with Dixie. What did Campbell do in the opener of that event? Didn't see a thread on that one?

Dixie beat Newport by 8.

The KHSAA Score Board says differently. It has Newport beating Dixie by a score of [TABLE=class: date_table]

Anything on the Campbell Co game? I saw a tweet where McGovney may have re-injured his knee and had to leave the game? I hate to hear that and will be praying for Nate and his family it isnt anything serious.

Any word on Nate? I heard he went down and was screaming in pain. Hope that was just exaggeration and it's nothing serious. Prayers to Nate.

Butler won but I cannot remember the final score. Butler came out smoking taking a quick 17-2 lead. Campbell Co. settled down and adjusted and mounted an 18-6 comeback lead by McGovney making it 23-20. Then it all went sour. About 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter Nate made a move near the basket and then let out a gut wrenching scream, not once but three times. Everyone in the gym felt his horrible pain and understood the added meaning of the 2nd and 3rd scream to be saying "OH NO NOT AGAIN!!!" The place went cold silent. He was temporarily seen to by a trainer on the bench but shortly thereafter was not to be seen again. However hard the Camels tried to keep the momentum swing in their favor, Butler soon resumed back to their dominant play and remounted an out of reach lead that they carried to the final buzzer. I can't say for sure, but they probably won by something like 15-20 points when all said and done. Sure hope McGovney will be alright. My gut says that it was pretty bad. My prayers go out to him and the whole Camels community. I can just imagine how he and all of his supporters must feel. Kid's a great player and has been through a lot. Hopefully he can rebound from all of this.

All signs point to a pulled muscle for McGovney with a scare given the timing. Will hope and pray for the best.

Did Newport win or Dixie? Have seen conflicting reports.
